Megan blinked awake, the light flickering in through the curtains she had forgotten to close in her highly intoxicated state. It took her a second to realise where she even was and what had happened, but once she took a look around the room and noted the way it was decorated, the things that filled it, she knew that she was at Justins house. She sat up, her head spinning from the hangover and the crash that had taken over her body the previous evening, and made her way to the bathroom to shower and try and make herself feel better.
She hadn’t brought a change of clothes, and so she opened one of the draws in the room and pulled out a pair of Justins sweatpants and a tank that fit her, hoping that he wouldn’t mind the intrusion. That was when the idea struck her. She knew that everyone had had a rough night, they had all partied so hard that she was sure everyone was feeling as bad as she was, and so she would go out and buy breakfast for everyone. She grinned at the idea and slipped on the flats that she had slipped in her bag the pervious afternoon, thanking the lord that she didn’t have to wear heels when her feet hurt so much. She was fast becoming aware that her legs were the first to give way when she was crashing from a cocaine high, and the next day they always ached as if she had been running in her sleep. She walked from the room she was staying in, chuckling as she walked passed open doors that people had been too drunk to close and made her way downstairs, grabbing her car keys and driving to a bagel store that she knew everyone would love.
As the brunette waited in line, having made quick work of the parking and walking as she didn’t want paparazzi taking photos of her when she looked so terrible even with make up, she made a metal note to get 2 of each kind of bagel and hoped that everyone would be satisfied, thinking about stopping by starbucks on the way back as she knew there was a drive through. She was so lost in thought that she almost missed him walking in. Josh.

You can come and get your stuff now if you wanted x
Megan stared at the screen of her phone, blinking a few times to make sure that the text she had just recieved was actually real. She had been dreading this day. Of course she knew that she woul dhave to go and pick up her stuff eventually, but she didn’t feel ready to even see him, let alone have him give her stuff back. It was hard enough seeing him around town, and now she had to go to his house where they had once been so perfect, and pick up every last trace of her so that he could finally be rid of her for good.
Sure, be there in 5 x
She replied, stretching on the sofa as she eyed the bottle of whiskey that was waiting for her on the side. She knew that she could easily neck at least half of it and be able to numb herself so much that she would barely feel anything as he returned her things, but she thought against it. She didn’t want him to know just how much he had broken her, how weak she was without him. She finished off the small glass that she had already poured herself and stood up, the alcohol enough to give her some courage and a buzz, but not enough to impair her feelings. In short, she was under the legal limit to drive while still being confident enough to remain strong throughout the meeting.
She pulled a sweater over her shirt, her denim shorts contrasting with the rest of her outfit, but she wanted to show off her assets when she saw him. She knew that he loved her legs, he had told her many a time, and showing them off would show him just what he had been missing. She licked her lips and grabbed her purse, walking to her car and pulling out a cigarette, lighting it as she drove to the boys house.
The brunette pulled up on the familiar drive, trying her hardest to block out all of the good memories that had come from arriving at this very place, and climbed out of the car. She took the last drag of her cigarette and threw it on the floor, stubbing it out on his drive way with more force than was necessary before she walked up to the familiar door way and knocked hard.
